I took Grace and Grant downtown to ride the trails at Waterfront Park. Playgrounds are scattered along the trail providing many opportunities to stop and play...
and make new friends. I'm not sure who this little guy is, but Grace and Grant spent a fun twenty minutes swinging with him.
Hey Mom! Take a picture of me by the boat.
Hey Mom! Take a picture so it looks like I'm holding the boat.
Hey Mom! Take my picture too!
You would think they are royalty or movie stars the way they expect me to constantly take pictures!
We rode all the way from downtown out to the locks and dam.
The timing was perfect. We got to watch a barge make its way through the lock nearest the observation deck.
Their legs were definitely worn out by the time we got back to the car,
but everyone had a lot of fun...and got some e.xercise too!
Speaking of exercise, I helped at Grant's school during Field Day.
Since I didn't help with his class, I only caught him at a couple of the stations
The weather was crazy warm that afternoon.
The kids were so hot and tired by the time they went back inside.
But no one complained. It was a good way to spend a day.
Things that make you go hmmmmm......
So I walked into the living room and found this.
No kids in sight. Just a cat texting her BFFs.
supervised by Grant
Is it any wonder I am crazy?
