Who expects to find 750 feet tall sand dunes covering thirty square miles in Colorado?
It took our breath away in the most literal sense of the word. It only looked like I stopped to take pictures. Had you been close enough, you might have heard me gasping for air.
No shame there. Just keepin' it honest.
As we worked to make our way to the top of the dunes we were serenaded by a very talented group of young people perched atop a dune singing.
We played. We climbed. We rolled down and climbed up again.
We played until the sun bid us a goodnight.
