On Wednesdays John and Emily wear a different uniform this year.

If Emily looks unhappy, it's because she IS unhappy.

We were discussing the fit of her uniform.

 

She was having a fit over the fit!

She really wasn't as unhappy as this picture looks.

This is the only picture I took of her though.

 

 

 

I told them I would take another one at the end of the year so they could see what changes ROTC has effected in nine months.

 

 

At the very last minute this summer

both kids decided to add JROTC to their schedule in place of PE.

 

 

This interest in ROTC caught David and me totally off guard.

 

 

 

Their school had a high participation rate in ROTC.

Over one hundred freshmen out of approximately four hundred and fifty signed up for ROTC class this year.

 

 

 

Peer pressure at its finest.... I guess.

 

They both really enjoy the class so far.  Let's see how much they enjoy those mile runs each week.
