Laundry day has become a bit of a challenge. It's not that I can't get the clothes washed or dried.
It's that I have nothing to PUT the clothes in once they're clean.
HOWEVER,
my two youngest kids have some mighty fine 'steps' leading up to their 'picnic spot'.
I bet you've never had a picnic spot like this.
Sometimes their picnic spot isn't a picnic spot at all.....
it can be a trampoline....
or a fancy ballroom at the King's palace.....
or a fancy ballroom with a floor like a trampoline!!
Last weekend Grant and his dad were bouncing on Grant's bed. I didn't see it, so I don't have the details of exactly how these two were bouncing together on a bed.
I do know it started a BAD thing.
Grant has been bouncing on beds a lot since then.
He bumped into Grace one day this week and fell over.
He knocked himself pretty hard on her nightstand.
I had a little talk with him after that.
"Little talk" is my code word for telling the child in question to "KNOCK IT OFF".
I usually enjoy our 'little talks' much more than the kids do.
Back to laundry day on Monday.........
After I closed down the ballroom/trampoline party on my bed I happened to look into our bathroom as I passed by with my newly acquired laundry basket full of clean clothes.
Here's the gift the mini party goers left for me on the bathroom floor.
I will never understand how piling all of their toys in a heap on the floor constitutes fun.
I guess that's why they're the kids and I'm the maid parent.

Grace got herself dressed to go out in the snow.
I suggested she might want to add a couple more layers before going outside.

Hope you had a good weekend.
