Seeing this sight tonight in our tree out front made me think immediately of the poem, 'The Raven' by Edgar Allan Poe.
I know these aren't ravens. They are equally gross though when swarming my house.
Creepy though it was, it was fascinating at the same time. These birds have used us as a stop over on their migration south this year.
Every day there are hundreds of birds swarming our neighborhood.
Tonight they discovered the boundless supply of berries in our ornamental tree out front.
The creep-fest didn't last long though.
Now you see them.....
And now......
you DON'T!
To quote Poe....'Nevermore'.........
That is when I hope to see my tree full of birds again!!
