They do this with each kid during the last class of the semester.
We're taking the summer off.....
no scouting,
no horse riding,
no gymnastics,
just being kids.

Grant got a navy bean stuck in his nose tonight.
I didn't think I'd ever get it out.
He wasn't really happy about the whole thing.
That's a first for us....not had a kid with something jammed in a nostril like that before now.

David has been out of town all last week.
We've been playing since the kids are finally done with school.
We've already made it to the pool four times.
I've even been in the big pool already.
The water is crazy warm for this early in the summer.

We went the see the fourth Shrek movie the other afternoon.
Don't waste your money seeing it.

I took the kids to Cincinnati to the Creation Museum last week too.
It was surprisingly good.
I got a lot more than I bargained for.
The kids loved it as well.

John's team has lost once in their baseball tournament.
They play Monday night now in the loser's bracket.
One more loss and we're done with baseball for the season.
Or six more wins and we're champions.
Either way is fine...I'll just be glad when we're done.

The big ones are packing this week.
They leave next sunday for church camp.
They are both so excited.

Gotta get laundry going tonight yet.
