The REAL Zoo

Tuesday after I picked up Grace from preschool we took advantage of the pretty weather (which has been rare this fall).  We went to the REAL zoo for a couple hours.  We had a picnic lunch and fed the ducks and played on the playground.  It was a very pleasant afternoon to say the least.  Here are a few pics of them enjoying the day.

Kids are funny.  I think the thing that excited them the most was taking a detour through the outdoor ampitheater.  We stopped in there for probably twenty minutes while they ran and ran and RAN through all the bleachers.  Go figure!!

I don't know if it's the weather change or what, but I'm getting lazy lately.  I've been in bed by ten o'clock the past four nights.  That means at least eight hours of sleep.  This could get addictive!!  It can't last, however.  The laundry pile is knee deep now waiting to be ironed.  I also don't get my nightly blog therapy. I'll have to remedy that soon.
